All Bran

I like to eat All Bran for breakfast however I find that it can hard to chew. It is a very dry twig like cereal. I think the best way to eat it is to pour boiling water on to the All Bran. It then reduces down to a sweet mash that is easily digested. I think it is also beneficial to drink a few glasses of water when eating the All Bran mash. It's a fibre full breakfast!

US Embassy

We had to visit the US Embassy to get a document notarized this morning.  We needed to bring two witnesses along with us - thanks Amy and Barry.  We thought we would be in and out in 5 minutes but it actually took about 45 mins in total.  Amy had gone to work about 7.30am and then left to meet us at the embassy at 8.30am.  She then returned to work afterwards - she works a short cycle away.
The US Embassy building is quite unique.  Click here for a short YouTube video and some info.
Once you walk through the security gates you are on American soil.  The other place this happens in Ireland is in Dublin Airport when  you go through American Immigration.

Steak Saturday!

The Steak & Wine Sale is on in Superquinn!

For dinner we had a great fillet steak (topped with garlic butter) followed by delicious ice cream with fudge cake.

Nick's Coffee

Just up the road from Superquinn is Nick's Coffee. It's basically just a small hatch with a few benches outside. There is no room at all to sit inside. All you can get is coffee and then there is a small selection of goodies. I got a Broderick's Brownie Brick which was sooo good!

Spring is in the air

Beautiful spring day here in Dublin. After a great breakfast in the newly reopened Door 51 in Ranelagh we walked up to the park with Bones. He had a good run around and met a few new doggy pals.

Bikram @home

Just completed my first Bikram practice at home. I found it very relaxing in comparison to practising in a packed out sweaty room.

I bought a CD of a Bikram class from the Bikram School of India website and used that to guide me through a class. It worked out so well.

Also when I zipped open my yoga bag, €50 fell out! That was nice!!

The view of the sky below was what I got to look at when I was in dead body pose. Bliss.
