A brochure for the Donnybrook Fair Summer Cookery School was dropped to my house this morning. They are putting on a range of fantastic classes and I am very tempted to sign up for one or two.
In particular I like the Summer Buffet class. In this class you will "learn how to create the most amazing Summer entertaining food". You will be taught how to make dishes that you can prepare in advance and that will keep well. What a useful and practical class - it aims to "take all the hassle out of entertaining". Sounds good to me!!!
Other classes offered will teach you how to make macaroons (yum!), bread, Summer salads and lots more.
For more info have a look on their website www.donnybrookfair.ie
This blog was originally started to track our progress as we regenerated a derelict Victorian house in Dublin. We turned an old crumbling ruin in to our dream house! If you wish to read through the trials and tribulations of the house build it is best to start at the oldest blog post and read in date order. The blog then evolved in to being all about my life in Dublin, Ireland and then life in Malaga, Spain with artist "PIGSY" and now back in Dublin I hope you enjoy reading it!

Yoga
Practiced yoga for 90 mins with my sister while Ciaran started on dinner.
Here's a pic of my sisters cat making some yogic moves!

Gap haul
Dashed in to the new Gap store (love it!) and picked up a few items on my lunch break. Glad to add some nice bright colours to my wardrobe.
Grey day
It's cold and grey in Dublin. The traffic was bad as I drove to work.
I need to lighten up, enjoy my coffee and have a good day at work!

Quick n'tasty
Stopped in to Lidl on the way home from work. As you know most Lidl's are very basic, but the Thomas Street one has a distinctly East Germany in the 1980's feel to it.
I bought fresh pasta (cooks in 3 mins), cooked and peeled prawns (shrimp for my American readers!) and a jar of sundried tomato pesto. Top with cheese and you have a tasty dinner in less than 5 minutes!

All Bran
I like to eat All Bran for breakfast however I find that it can hard to chew. It is a very dry twig like cereal. I think the best way to eat it is to pour boiling water on to the All Bran. It then reduces down to a sweet mash that is easily digested. I think it is also beneficial to drink a few glasses of water when eating the All Bran mash. It's a fibre full breakfast!
