I got a French manicure on my fingernails and a funky pale blue varnish on my nails. Very relaxing and chilled out morning!
This blog was originally started to track our progress as we regenerated a derelict Victorian house in Dublin. We turned an old crumbling ruin in to our dream house! If you wish to read through the trials and tribulations of the house build it is best to start at the oldest blog post and read in date order. The blog then evolved in to being all about my life in Dublin, Ireland and then life in Malaga, Spain with artist "PIGSY" and now back in Dublin I hope you enjoy reading it!

Mani-Pedi time
We went for a manicure & pedicure this morning in Maricel Salon (formerly on White Street). Ciaran also got his eyebrows done.
915
We went to 915 last night for dinner. We got such a nice table facing out on to Duval Street.
Ciaran started with Tuna & Crab dome (it was excellent) while I had the Devils on Horseback (love them!).
We both had fillet migon cooked rare for mains. We got the pepper sauce on the side (really creamy) and ate the chips with the garlic aioli.
We then shared a gorgeous chocolate pudding between us. It was topped by white chocolate peanut brittle.
All in all a fantastic meal in possibly one of the nicest outdoor restaurants in Key West, Florida.

Braza Lena
On Tuesday evening I met my sister for food at the bar in Braza Lena. We had a fun time - great caipiroscas and good food. I ordered a burger and Amy ordered a meat platter.
My steak burger tasted really good!!!

Origami
Origami is a marvelous little sushi restaurant located in Duval Square. We sat at the bar and Ciaran ordered a beer.
While we were waiting to order we were given an amuse bouche of a cucumber salad with the most lovely dressing.
Ciaran ordered a dinner box while I ordered some shrimp tempura sushi, spicy tuna sushi and some tuna sashimi along with some steamed pork gyoza. I didn't realize how much food that was going to be!!

Sarabeth's
Sunday night is fried chicken night in Sarabeth's. Chicken, that was Soaked in buttermilk for 24 hrs, just about everyone in the restaurant was eating it!
We ordered a Chilean Merlot which was very good or "mealy" as I described it to Ciaran!
For starters, we split the calamari.
For main Ciaran had the chicken (no surprise!) while I had the meatloaf (no comparison with meatloaf in 7 Fish)

Santiago's Bodega
Last nights we ate in Santiago's Bodega which is on Petronia Street in the Bahama Village. It's a tapas restaurant with lots of small plate options.
We then followed with the beef tenderloin and shrimp & chorizo on a skewer. At this point I was so full I couldn't even finish the shrimp!!!
We chose a French Bordeaux to drink and started with a blue cheese wedge salad.
Then we had prosciutto wrapped dates stuffed with cheese - I love these!!
We also chose the tuna tartar
And the gorgeous cherry & hoi sin glazed ribs.
But when got home I realized I had room for dessert so we called to Flamingo Crossing for some French Chocolate @ Oreo Cookie ice cream. Yum!
