New Hair!

This was my hair a few days ago.  It had got so long!

And this is it now!!

I went for the big chop.  I'm really happy with it.  Feels in great condition and is easy to style.  I don't think I'll ever grow my hair as long again.

Nana's 85th Birthday Party - Cake by Candylane Cupcakes

This is the incredible cake my cousin Anne of Candylane Cupcakes made for my grandmother's 85th birthday celebrations.

I think the cake is sensational looking - the colours are so funky!

Inside the filling was sponge with vanilla buttercream and raspberry jam.  Yum!

Halloween in Dublin - Zombie Alert!

Amy and I met for a Zombie Cycle on Halloween Night. I dressed as a Zombie Doctor while Amy was a Zombie Cop.

Bones wore his life jacket.  He was dressed as an Old Sea Dog.

Motorola Minicall - blast from the past

My parent's house was broken in to last night so I called up this evening to give them a hand cleaning everything up.

In one of the boxes that the thieves emptied out I found my old Motorola Minicall.  What a blast from the past!!!

This was actually my second minicall pager and was designed by Benetton.

They were such silly things.  When someone wanted to contact you they had to call a premium line number and then you called them back when their number came through on the pager.

I think it was in about 1997 that I got this minicall - it looks great for its age!

Dead iPhone

Last night my iPhone wouldn't charge.  I was worried that it was the actual phone that was broken as it is an old iPhone 4 (hand me down from Ciaran).  

But in fairness the charger is in a right state so chances were that it was the charger that was broken.

I bought a cheap charger from Dealz this morning and what do you know it is charging properly.  Yay!  So happy.  I'd be lost without my iPhone and I am not planning on getting a new one for as long as possible so it would have been a big chore to get a new one.

My sister suggested I buy a spare charger to leave in work.  Seems like a sensible thing to do so I will get another one when I am next in Dealz.

Pitt Bros.

It was a Bank Holiday here in Ireland this weekend.  On Saturday Ciaran and I went to Pitt Bros for the first time.  OMG, it's so good!  

It was so good that I brought Amy back on Saturday!

All the food beat us!  We left the chips and Mac & Cheese - we were too full from the meat (we are off carbs anyway so Amy had only 1 chip and I had a taste of the Mac - which was only ok!). 

I should also mention that they have free ice cream cones too in this place!  Love that!!
