This blog was originally started to track our progress as we regenerated a derelict Victorian house in Dublin. We turned an old crumbling ruin in to our dream house! If you wish to read through the trials and tribulations of the house build it is best to start at the oldest blog post and read in date order. The blog then evolved in to being all about my life in Dublin, Ireland and then life in Malaga, Spain with artist "PIGSY" and now back in Dublin I hope you enjoy reading it!

Any comments or questions?!
Hi Readers,
Thank you so much for reading this blog. From my statistics provided by Google I can see that this blog is reaching people all over the world including people in the following countries, The Netherlands, England, USA, Spain, Russia, Belgium, Ukraine, Norway & Germany and of course Ireland! Wow, quite amazing!
If anyone has any questions/comments about the building works or anything else that they have read on the blog, please comment below and I will be happy to answer them in public here on the blog. I'd also be very interested in publishing any suggestions anyone would like to make.
Thanks again for reading!

New Year and we are back in Ireland!
We arrived back in to Dublin at 7am, after two fantastic flights with Delta Airlines, yesterday morning. After a short sleep we headed over to view developments. A lot had been done while we were holidaying in the States and Ciaran was pleased with progress. We stayed on site for about an hour while Ciaran answered questions from the foreman and also explained parts of the build. Today he was straight in to work to do further procurement and also to draw up further plans to assist the builders.
Ciaran answering questions that the builders had about certain details. |
Back wall will be made of glass - it will sit close to the old stone wall! |

Gone fishing!
Yesterday we went on a half day fishing trip on the Tortugua IV. The weather was perfect and we even managed to catch dinner! Today is our last day so when I get home I will begin to blog again about the house and get a few pics up of the building work.
I'm sure lots has been done in the last 3 weeks - I'm looking forward to seeing the progress!!
