Subway tiles

The downstairs bathroom has been tiled.  Ciaran chose a white subway tile with no bevel.  These proved difficult to locate.  The bevelled subway tile is easy enough to procure in Ireland but the non-bevelled subway tile is not commonly found.  At one point we thought we may have to ship them in from the States but luckily an Irish supplier was found eventually.

The grouting is a dark grey to make the tiles stand out.

  1. Hi - this tiling looks amazing (as does the rest)! I don't suppose you could share the name of the supplier who had the non-bevelled subway tile?? Nearing the end of a similar job.
    Thanks, Em.

  3. I really love subway tile - I tiled my kitchen back splash last year using this tile and it looks so fresh and clean. I don't think it ever goes out of fashion either.

  4. Hi there,
Trying to find non-bevelled white subway tiles too! I'm looking for gloss ones. Are the tiles you used gloss or matte finish? Finding it hard to work out from the photos..
    Thanks

  5. Hi Gayle,

They are gloss tiles. If you need any further info about them you could email Ciaran in ODKM Architects - cmc@odkmarchitects.com

Good luck with your tile search!
