This blog was originally started to track our progress as we regenerated a derelict Victorian house in Dublin. We turned an old crumbling ruin in to our dream house! If you wish to read through the trials and tribulations of the house build it is best to start at the oldest blog post and read in date order. The blog then evolved in to being all about my life in Dublin, Ireland and then life in Malaga, Spain with artist "PIGSY" and now back in Dublin

We went to see Blackkklansman on Sunday evening in the Omniplex Rathmines. The cinema was packed - we booked a few hours beforehand and I got seats in the middle to the side. I saw some of the audience in the front row looking up to the back for spare seats that they could move to. At the end of the film there was dead silence. I think I was actually holding my breath. It was scary and tense and honestly I despair for the USA right now. This is a must see movie and it is a reminder that we always must stand up against racism.
I went to see "Amy" yesterday evening. What an incredible talent she was. It was really sad to see how her life and ultimately tragic death unfolded. Perhaps her troubles were what made her so talented....or was it her talent that caused her troubles?
It's a tough watch (but enjoyable in parts - particularly the music) and I definitely recommend you go see it in the cinema.
