This blog was originally started to track our progress as we regenerated a derelict Victorian house in Dublin. We turned an old crumbling ruin in to our dream house! If you wish to read through the trials and tribulations of the house build it is best to start at the oldest blog post and read in date order. The blog then evolved in to being all about my life in Dublin, Ireland and then life in Malaga, Spain with artist "PIGSY" and now back in Dublin I hope you enjoy reading it!

Auntie Anne taunts me!
I have to turn my head as I walk by this shop......but the smell still gets me. I get enticed over for the sweet deliciousness. Oh Auntie Anne, why did you have to open your first Irish store in the shopping centre next to my workplace??!!!!
***Edit- I've been reliably informed that Auntie Anne's originated in Lancaster, Pennsylvania by two friends who live in Lancaster, PA.
I learnt something new!
Boston Marathon
A shocking cowardly act which threatened the safety of people of all ages and nationalities but also threatens the feeling of security of the American people, as they went about their Patriots Day Celebrations, and as they pick up the pieces and start a new day today.
So very sad.

Fantastic Mr. Fox
Last night our dog chased a fox up the road. It was a scary experience but luckily Bones didn't get too far - he stopped at a gate that the fox was able to squeeze through.
Last week my sister and saw a fox in the city. She blogged about it here
Sightings of foxes can logged on this tracking site
The picture below is of all the foxes logged in Dublin currently
The last photo is advice about foxes that was given in the newsletter of the Upper Leeson Street Area Residents Association

Fat n' fluffy
Today I made pancakes and rather then using an electric mixer I used a hand whisk. The result was lumpy batter and fabulous aerated fat n' fluffy pancakes!

Iron on this!
I tested it out the minute we got home. It's great! Good cushiony padding and the perfect height. I was able to speedily iron a shirt.
Obviously I am not a fan of ironing (who is?) so hopefully this new board will make the task at hand easier!
